Commonwealth Science Conference
Following the success of the 2014 Commonwealth Science Conference, the Royal Society and National Research Foundation, Singapore, are working together to organise the next Commonwealth Science Conference in Singapore on 13-16 June 2017.

The conference will bring together leading scientists to showcase the best science from across the commonwealth. The conference aims to celebrate excellence in science throughout the Commonwealth; provide opportunities for cooperation between researchers in different Commonwealth countries; inspire young scientists, students and pupils; build understanding about policy issues of common interest and encourage scientific capacity building in Commonwealth countries.

The conference will be attended by around 400 scientists from across the Commonwealth, at different stages in their career.

Delegate applications to attend the conference are now closed.

Highlights
Highlights include a keynote lecture from Sir Venki Ramakrishnan, President of the Royal Society, plenary lectures from leading scientists across the Commonwealth, sessions on a range of topical issues affecting the Commonwealth. The conference is also a unique opportunity for those attending to meet scientists from around the Commonwealth to discuss common challenges and opportunities to work together.

Emerging infectious diseases
Sustainable cities
The future of the oceans
Towards low carbon energy
