Hector Fellow Academy PhD Research Positions
Hector Fellow Academy is now offering a PhD research position. International scholars are welcome to apply this positions. The selected researchers are expected to do research under supervision of one of the Hector Fellows. He or she will be granted 15.000 € per year. To apply, the application package must be submitted no later than 30 April 2017.

Program Description
PhD students of the Hector Fellow Academy carry out a self-developed research project under supervision of one of the Hector Fellows. The 20 Hector Fellows are a community of excellent professors from the natural sciences and engineering working at different research institutions across Germany/Switzerland. Hector Fellow Academy PhD students are employed as research assistants at the university of the corresponding Hector Fellow for a period of three years. In addition, they receive material expenses for their research and are given the opportunity to participate in selected management modules.

Award Value
The selected candidates will receive up to 15.000 € per year for materials needed in the research project.

At Hector Fellow Academy in Germany.

Eligibility and Criteria
This research position available for excellent master graduates. The applicants must be ready to move to the location of the Hector Fellow’s university. In addition, students may not have completed their Master’s degree at the university of their preferred Hector Fellow and their master thesis may not have been supervised by the selected Hector Fellow. English proficiency is also required.

  • Bachelor’s certificate / Intermediate
  • Master’s certificate
  • Ranking in graduates (for students from Non-German universities)
  • Results of an English language proficiency test
  • Passport photograph
