Offers are up for the Susan R. Meisinger graduate fellowship  to pursue master program in Human Resources at an accredited university within or outside of the United States. International students can apply for the fellowship.

The main objective of the SHRM is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students

The fellowship is offered to study master program in Human Resources.

Course Level:

The fellowship is available for master degree at an accredited university with an equal commitment to both teaching and research.

Eligibility:

The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this fellowship:

The fellowship is open to all eligible first-time master’s degree students attending accredited universities all across the world; it is not limited to U.S.-based students. To be eligible to apply, any HR professional must be a first-time master’s student seeking a degree in HR and must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Be a member of SHRM or
Hold a professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
Note: Individuals who already hold a master’s degree, regardless of the field in which they earned a master’s degree, are not eligible to apply for this fellowship. The fellowship is for individuals seeking their first master’s degree, in HR, who are starting studies this year or who have at least two years of study left in the master’s program. Ph.D. candidates are not eligible to apply for the fellowship.
Candidates must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:
-Earned a minimum GPA of 3.5 overall in his or her undergraduate major and current master’s program (if already enrolled) based on a 4-point grading scale or any scale analogous to a 4- point grading scale.
Has a minimum of five years of work experience in HR.
Has a minimum of 10 years of total professional work experience.
Has been accepted into a qualified master’s program (see question 15 for definition of a qualified program) within or outside of the United States seeking an HR-related master’s degree for the first time, or is already enrolled in such program and has a minimum of two years of study remaining in an HR-related master’s degree program.


Benefit:

At least one new fellowship of up to $10,000 annually will be granted each year if qualified applications are received. Each fellowship is renewable for one additional year for a total of two years of graduate study and up to $20,000 total for the fellowship, as long as the recipient remains enrolled in the original degree program cited in the application.
