Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the the scholarship:
A PhD degree, awarded (or planned to be awarded before the commencement of the position) from a foreign university, in mathematics is a requirement. We seek a candidate with a strong background in dynamical systems methods applied to problems in general relativity, in particular, cosmology. Experience with oscillatory singularities of the type that occur in Bianchi VIII and IX vacuum spacetimes is particularly important. The successful applicant should be strongly motivated, have the capability to work independently as well as in collaboration with members of the research group, and have good communication skills.
