The Mount Lawley Teacher’s College had a strong natural history and ecology program inspired by Dr Len ‘bugs’ McKenna, the Assistant Vice-Principal of the College. The Mount Lawley Teacher’s College Memorial Award is an annual award to support a student enrolled in the School of Science at ECU. The award offers a once off payment of $1,200.

Eligibility guidelines
To be eligible for this award you must:
be an Australian citizen or permanent resident;
demonstrate academic merit;
be entering into the Honours component of your School of Science course.
Selection criteria
Selection is based on academic merit.
How to apply
Application is made via the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal. Access to the portal is available between application opening and closing dates.
You will need to supply a written summary of no more than one A4 page indicating the purpose, nature and significance of your proposed research area
